Celebrating Love and Longevity

It's the season of love, and who doesn't love celebrating love? Our staff members at Brunswick Pointe recently had the pleasure of hosting a vow renewal ceremony for one of our residents and his wife. Father Bob, from St. Ambrose Catholic church, surprised the couple with a vowel renewal right here in our building. It was such a beautiful day spent with their closest family and friends. We were thrilled to be a part of such a special moment!
Our resident, Timothy, and his wife, Elizabeth, have been happily married for 50 years. The two first met one another at Holy Name High School in 1966. They dated for seven years before they decided to devote their lives to one another in marriage. They were happily married in 1973 and have been there for each other through all of life's challenges and blessings.
Timothy and Elizabeth have a large family, including three children and six grandchildren. Their secret to marriage is,
"loving each other and always forgiving the other when one screws up." They have put God in the center of their lives and marriage and leave it all up to Him. They are devoted to each other and have become an inspiration to all those around them.
Our staff members at Brunswick Pointe are always filled with joy to be a part of the big and little moments for our residents and their families.
