National Grandparents Day Celebration

This year for National Grandparents Day, we celebrated the best ones we know by throwing them an intimate picnic with friends and family! Our guests were invited to enjoy a meal and spend quality time with their grandparents at Brunswick Pointe. Our Dietary Department put together a picnic-style lunch, and our residents had smiles beaming from ear to ear. It brought us so much joy to see everyone so happy.



Grandparents are such a special part of their grandchildren's lives and leave such a positive impact! There are so many reasons why being a grandparent is special. So, in celebration of the day, we asked several residents, "What is the BEST part about being a grandparent?" They had so many heartfelt responses. Some of them were, "LOVE when they come and visit you," "Get all the good and none of the bad," and "Just being there for your grandchildren."



It's important to us at Brunswick Pointe to create opportunities for friends and family spend time with their loved ones and continue creating positive memories with them. Just because your loved one may be in a nursing home, doesn't mean their lives stop. They deserve to have great experiences and continue living their life to the fullest. Hosting events like this helps contribute to our residents' overall well-being and quality of life.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our residents' day so great. They really enjoyed seeing some of their favorite people! Happy Grandparents Day from all of us at Brunswick Pointe!
