Saluting Our Veterans

On the Friday before Veterans Day, Brunswick Pointe hosted a heartfelt Veterans Day recognition event in the afternoon, honoring the men and women who bravely served in the military. Surrounded by their families and friends eager to join in the praise, the atmosphere was one of gratitude and respect.



Jill, our Activities Director, orchestrated the event, recognizing the importance of acknowledging these heroes. With servicemen from the Navy, Marines, and Army, the diversity of experiences was notable, including a resident who trained military dogs, sharing captivating stories during the event. The gentlemen were honored with a pin, certificate, and a personalized touch—a flower symbolizing appreciation. Following the recognition, a warm gathering ensued with coffee and cookies, open to all residents.



The event left an unforgettable mark of gratitude, as applause echoed in recognition of these remarkable men. Proudly serving Veterans here at Brunswick Pointe, hosting this special event every year always holds a unique place in our hearts. Seeing our residents happy and appreciated brings us so much reward!
